The fabrics

  • Indoor/Outdoor: a midweight fleece that resists wind and rain. The bodysuit made to wear inside as well as out, and good for travelling, hiking and camping. Machine wash cool, tumble dry low.
  • Heavy Fleece: thick, warm polar fleece for cold, windy winter weather. It resists wind and snow and is fully machine washable. Outside wear only.
  • Windblock: 3 layers: a velvety outer fleece treated to be water-repellent and fight off stains, a polyurethane layer in the middle that blocks wind and snow, and a textured inner fleece for insulation. Wash in cold water and air dry; it dries in minutes. Outside wear only.
  • Extra Heavy Fleece: a very thick velour fleece that resists wind and repels snow, for weather below 35°F. Outside wear only.
  • Extra Heavy Windblock: the same 3-layer, wind-blocking and water-repellent build in a dense, very thick fleece. It feels like a jacket in the shape of a bodysuit. The hooded version is made for 25°F down to 10°F. Outside wear only.

Hood or no hood?

Hooded styles have a sewn-in hood with no strings or attachments that covers the head, ears and neck without blocking your dog’s vision, plus a second leash opening on the hood. On the Extra Heavy Fleece Hooded Bodysuit, the hood rolls back into a turtleneck. Choose a hood if your Whippet tucks its head down against wind or has cold ears.

Quick picks

Every winter fleece is for outside wear only. Take it off indoors so your dog doesn’t overheat, and switch to Jammies or the Indoor/Outdoor Bodysuit inside.
