Heavyweight Sweatshirts cover the chest and upper body, but a four-leg bodysuit also covers the belly and legs, where dogs lose the most heat, so a bodysuit is always the better choice for walks. Choosing a size
Measure length (base of the neck, in front of the withers, to the end of the back legs) and girth (the largest chest circumference, behind the front legs), then compare with the Whippet sizing guide. Most Whippets have a chest 2-2.5" larger than their length. If your dog is between sizes or a mix, send us the measurements and we’ll help you choose.
