The Whippet Windblock Fleece Bodysuit is great for the harsh winter weather. It is insulated, plus wind-blocking and water-repellent, and 3 layers thick. The outer fleece is a velvety, water repellent fleece, that fights off the elements as well as stains. The textured inner fleece adds to the insulation properties. In between is a polyurethane layer blocking wind and snow. Windblock Fleece will keep your dog warm into the 20s, and should never be worn inside.

Fitted to the Whippet
Contoured for Whippets and breeds with deep chests, long legs and higher tucks, so the suit follows the body instead of hanging loose like a generically sized coat. Since 1999, every Houndz in the Hood pattern has been sized and shaped to the breed, the way a dressmaker fits a client.
Choosing a size
Measure length (base of the neck, in front of the withers, to the end of the back legs) and girth (the largest chest circumference, behind the front legs), then compare with the Whippet sizing guide. Most Whippets have a chest 2-2.5" larger than their length. If your dog is between sizes or a mix, send us the measurements and we’ll help you choose.
