Windblock Fleece is great for a cold winter, with windy and snowy weather, and below freezing temperatures. It blocks wind and snow, while giving the body strong heat insulation. Windblock fleece is 3 layers thick. The outer fleece is a velvety rich fleece that is treated to be water repellent, fighting off the elements as well as stains. The textured inner fleece adds to the insulation properties. In between the 2 layers is a polyurethane barrier to block the wind and snow. Windblock fleece keeps your dog warm from 32 degrees to 20 degrees, and should never be worn inside.

Fitted to the Whippet
Contoured for Whippets and breeds with deep chests, long legs and higher tucks, so the suit follows the body instead of hanging loose like a generically sized coat. Since 1999, every Houndz in the Hood pattern has been sized and shaped to the breed, the way a dressmaker fits a client.
Choosing a size
Measure length (base of the neck, in front of the withers, to the end of the back legs) and girth (the largest chest circumference, behind the front legs), then compare with the Whippet sizing guide. Most Whippets have a chest 2-2.5" larger than their length. If your dog is between sizes or a mix, send us the measurements and we’ll help you choose.
