Embroidered Fleece Sweaters cover the chest and front legs, but a four-leg bodysuit also covers the belly and legs, where dogs lose the most heat, so a bodysuit is always the better choice for walks. Fitted to the Miniature
Sized and shaped for Miniature breeds such as Miniature Pinschers, Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers and Miniature Poodles. Since 1999, every Houndz in the Hood pattern has been sized and shaped to the breed, the way a dressmaker fits a client.
Choosing a size
Measure length (base of the neck, in front of the withers, to the base of the tail) and girth (the largest chest circumference, behind the front legs), then compare with the Miniature sizing guide. Most Miniature breeds have a chest 2-2.5" larger than their length. If your dog is between sizes or a mix, send us the measurements and we’ll help you choose.
