Our Italian Greyhound patterns start from AKC breed measurements and are refined on real dogs, so it follows the deep chest, high tuck and long, thin legs instead of hanging loose like a generically sized coat.
Choosing a size
Measure length (base of the neck to the base of the tail) and girth (the widest part of the chest, behind the front legs):
- Size 14: length 13-14", girth 15-16.5", 7-11 lbs
- Size 16: length 15-16", girth 17-19", 11-16 lbs
- Size 18: length 17-18", girth 19.5-21", 16-23 lbs
